After the Ezio Trilogy arrived on current-gen consoles a couple years back, it was inevitable that we would get Assassin's Creed III Remastered. This updated and polished version of the game is arriving on PS4, Xbox One and PC on March 29. It includes all the DLC for the original game, including the Benedict Arnold missions, the Tyranny of King Washington and even bundles in Assassin's Creed III Liberation Remastered.
I know a lot of fans felt that Assassin's Creed III was somewhat disappointing, but I was surprised by how much it drew me in, after I got used to the awkwardly updated combat and stealth controls that is. I love the American Revolution time period to begin with, and to see it from Ratonhnhaké:ton's conflicted, outsider perspective was a gripping experience. I didn't really check out of the Assassin's Creed series until Unity, and I feel like the series has just been downhill since then, so I'm looking forward to reliving the highlights with Assassin's Creed III Remastered.
