Developer Pearl Abyss has announced that Xbox One players will be able to try out the final open beta of Black Desert from February 14-17, before the game launches on March 4. The developers describe the final open beta as being a more polished experience with improvements being made to the game's overall quality-of-life. Node wars, the game's version of large-scale combat, will also be available to try in the open beta. All players that participate in the beta will be awarded a special title and those that reach level 30 will receive a Calpheon chubby dog upon the game's launch.
Players with a Xbox One X will be able to experience the game's support for 4K Ultra HDR support, which personally I'm excited to see with the game's impressive character creation system and stunning environments. Robin Jung, Chief Executive Officer at Pearl Abyss describes the Xbox One development process, "We’re just weeks away from the launch of Black Desert on March 4 and we can’t wait to let players experience the new content. We’ve worked hard to incorporate the feedback and comments from the Xbox community to ensure the world of Black Desert is a living, breathing experience for players can truly immerse themselves."
Various editions of the game are available to pre-order on the Microsoft Store.
