Nintendo Selects, which used to be called Player's Choice back when I was a kid, is Nintendo's discounted line of games that have sold 1 million units. Today three more hits joined the ranks of the selects: Super Mario Maker 3DS, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D, and Star Fox 64 3D. All of these games make sense as selects but the timing is a touch odd. Mario Maker is a couple years old and was a strange choice for 3DS; I'm amazed they didn't just port it to Switch but I expect that will happen eventually. Majora 3D launched with the New 3DS back in early 2015 so it's on track for a price cut.
The odd man out is Star Fox 64 3D, which came out all the way back in July of 2011; it was practically a launch title. I'm surprised it hasn't been a select for years now, but hey, Nintendo's gonna Nintendo. You can pick up all three of these fine titles at most retailers for $19.99 each.
