When Metro Exodus was originally announced way back at Microsoft's 2017 E3 Press Event, I don't think anyone would have been surprised that the 2018 expected release would eventually get pushed into 2019. In fact, at this years E3, it was announced that the game would drop on 2/22/19, but in reality, it will actually be a week earlier.
Today, Microsoft revealed a new Metro Exodus Story Trailer, along with a Xbox One X Metro Saga Bundle ($499) when the game becomes available on 02/15/19. The bundle is intriguing, because int includes a 1TB Xbox One X, Metro Exodus, Metro 2033 Redux (GN review of 360 version) and Metro: Last Light Redux (GN Review of 360 version) along with 1-month of Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Live Gold. That's a lot of goodies for that price.
So if you are thinking about getting teh game and/or upgrading your Xbox One, this may be a good deal to pass up. In the interim, check out the new trailer, which looks pretty good.
