Farming Simulator 19, the biggest and probably best game ever, is out. And in its first 10 days, it has sold over 1 million copies.
Packing more vehicles (including John Deere) than ever before, the game takes players across new American and European farming environments. New crops include ones with cotton and oat, and players can tend to livestock such as pigs, cows, sheep, and chickens. Also there are horses you can ride. Hopefully someone will make a farmer that looks like Geralt or Ciri from The Witcher 3.
No word yet on whether we'll see some DLC that takes a look at things other than modern, industrial agribusiness. Personally, I would like to see some levels or minigames where players can learn subsistence agriculture or things like slash-and-burn. I also think it would be hilarious to see what solutions players would come up with if they faced an African termite mound. But as of right now these are just simple wishes of an even simpler wannabe farmboy.
