Red Dead online is DOA on Xbox platform so far

Red Dead Online was supposed to go active for beta testing as of 8:30 am EST today across the PlayStation and Xbox Platforms.  However, five hours in, and only the PlayStation folks have been able to get in.  Xbox One Ultimate owners of Red Dead redemption 2 have been getting the below screens when trying to access the beta.  Either an error message for connectivity, or just a simple splash screen saying "Coming Soon."

There seems to be a bit of frustration for those that dropped $99 on the Ultimate edition with the promise of getting early access to the Online Beta.  Hopefully this will be corrected soon, as a whole bunch of players are scheduled to hit the beta tomorrow when launch day participants are allowed in.
