With PC Fallout 76 B.E.T.A. hitting in a few days, the folks at Bethesda have updated the FAQ to include the PC specs. Not much out of expectations, except for the unusual quirk with the minimum and recommended processors from Intel.
Fallout 76 (minimum):
Requires 64-bit processor and operating system
OS: Windows 7/8/10 (64-bit OS required)
Processor: Intel Core i7 4790 3.6 GHz/AMD Ryzen 3 1300X 3.5 GHz or equivalent
Graphics: NVIDIA GTX 780 3GB/AMD Radeon R9 285 2GB or equivalent
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Storage: 60 GB of free disk space
Fallout 76 (recommended):
Requires 64-bit processor and operating system
OS: Windows 7/8.1/10
Processor: Intel Core i7-4790 3.6 GHz / AMD Ryzen 5 1500X 3.5 GHz
Graphics: Nvidia GTX 970 4GB / AMD R9 290X 4GB
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Storage: 60 GB of free disk space
While the AMD Ryzen changes, Bethesda is suggesting the same Intel processor (intel Core i7 4790 3.6 Ghz) for both the minimum and recommended specs. While this may seem weird, if you have refreshed your PC in the last couple of years and have an i5, you should still be good. That processor, the i7 4790, was released in Q2 of 2014, and most i5 released recently most likely meet or exceed the performance. Still, it seems a bit weird on Bethesda's part to not use a newer i5 for the min, but you should be good either way.
