CREED: Rise to Glory releases in six days, on September 25th. The game has been making all sorts of noise lately, particularly with the announcement of a CREED PlayStation VR bundle.
But now, just a week before release, developer Survios has dropped a giant bomb, announcing that CREED will include online PVP. Yes, folks, you can now get your behind whooped by a stranger in VR. You will be able to challenge friends, as well as taking on randoms in Quick Match mode. There is no word on the ability to talk smack to your opponent, but if this game is anything like Firewall, I will be screaming curse words into the mic (my wife gets super irritated with my antics).
Speaking of Firewall, that game (and a few other recent titles) proved that PS VR games are capable of gaining traction in the multiplayer space. Here’s hoping that players grab onto to CREED, because I sure want to pull muscles in my back pretending to punch strangers, don’t you?
