If you were anxious to get your hands on Battlefield V, well you're going to have to wait an extra month. Originally set to come out on October 19th, the new release date is now November 20th as detailed by the General Manager of DICE, Oskar Gabrielson.
October was going to be a pretty crowded month in the first place with releases of both Call of Duty: Black Ops IV and Red Dead Redemption 2. Now, Battlefield V will get some more time to polish up a few things and be released on a less competitive month.
The open beta for Battlefield V starts September 6th, so if they get more feedback from this event, they'll have some extra time to fine tune things that the beta players could find during the testing period. Which, is always a good idea to try and make the game the best it can be and with so many other releases the month before now, they don't have to rush to make the original release date and have it be swallowed up by two other highly anticipated titles.
