De Blob 2 is coming to Nintendo Switch
As a longtime THQ fan, it's been gratifying for me to see THQ Nordic revive a lot of the publisher's IP over the past couple years. De Blob was one of my favorite quirky THQ franchises when it launched on Wii way back in the day, and now the series is coming full circle. De Blob 2 joins its predecessor with an HD remake on Nintendo Switch, coming August 28th for $29.99.
In the innovative sequel, Comrade Black is marshaling his forces to wipe color out of Prisma City for good. Blob is back with the color resistance, this time with full co-op multiplayer, to splash a little pigment into Comrade Black's face and undo the plot of his new mind-controlling partner, Papa Blanc.
I always loved how unique this series was so I'm glad to see it make a comeback. Hopefully we'll see a third entry if the first two HD remakes do well enough.

Now they are announcing the release of de Blob 2 on Nintendo Switch™, again like they did with the first game. The digital and retail version of de Blob 2 for Nintendo Switch will be out on August 28, 2018 for an SRP of USD/EUR 29.99.

de Blob 2 is a platformer which utilizes unique painting functionality as the main game mechanic along with classic platforming actions and low gravity space. Set a few years after the events of the first de Blob game, action in de Blob 2 revolves around another attempt to wipe all colorful individuality from Prisma City and its residents. It's up to the player to join the Color Underground and bring color back to the world. Features include: multiplayer support, 12 new single player levels, new power-ups and epic boss battles.
