Microsoft has announced that Gears of War will be getting it's own strategy series just like the Halo Wars series of games.
Tactics will be a prequel to the Gears of War series and will be set 12 years before the events of the first game.
I assume this game is probably a ways out because we only got a few seconds of game play and a short announcement that it is in development. As someone that loves strategy games like XCOM and the Gears of War series, I am very excited for this, even more so than the Gears 5 reveal.
I assume the game will be released for the Xbox One as well but they only announced that it is coming to PC.
