Well, after five years of teasing we finally have a release date for Kingdom Hearts 3. The long awaited sequel will hit the consoles on January 29, 2019. That is, if it's not delayed of course.
Kingdom Hearts 3 was first teased at E3 of June 2013. Five years after being mentioned and countless videos of different worlds you'll be playing in, we'll finally get to play the game in the beginning of next year.
Square Enix didn't make an elaborate video or grand press conference announcement. They just tweeted out a short, simple animation of the release date, which I'm sure will please many fans.
So, after 13 year since Kingdom Hearts 2, you'll be able to step back into the shoes of Sora one more time.
