Intrigue, the new expansion for Galactic Civilizations III, gives players the opportunity they always wanted: to be a space politician.
Players can hold elections, select members of their governing cabinet, form alliances, engage in the galactic economy, as well as practice general space imperialism by establishing colonies on various worlds. The devs state on their blog that this won't require a ton of micromanagement.
Also included are new ship models, weapons, and even the Galaxy News Network, or GNN, which can assist players in keeping track of alliances and conflict across the galaxy.
Galactic Civilizations III: Intrigue, launches Spring 2018.
