Today (actually still going at the time of this post), Capcom held a streaming broadcast to make an announcement regarding Mega Man's 30th anniversary. A lot of people, myself included, were hoping for a new Mega Man game and that's exactly what we were getting. The stream had a montage of all of Mega Man's outings from the original on the NES all the way through the X, Zero, Legends, Battle Network, and Star Force series, plus a few spinoffs. Following that was the reveal of Mega Man 11 which looks to retain the gameplay style of the classics but with an updated graphics style. I for one can't wait for this to be released next year and am highly looking forward to it.
The Mega Man 11 portion of the video shown during the broadcast can be seen on the Mega Man Twitter page while the full video is on the Mega Man YouTube channel.
UPDATE: I tuned into the stream a bit late, but according to a few sources I found online, both Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 and 2 are coming to the Switch next year, plus a Mega Man X collection with all 8 games in that series is hitting all major consoles and PC as well.
