A character that has only existed in Destiny legend up to this point will now make his debut: Osiris. In Destiny 2 – Expansion I: Curse of Osiris, coming December 5, you're looking for Mr. Cult of Osiris himself. It'll have all new story missions and adventures set on Mercury.
You know, Mercury, the tiny, innermost planet of the solar system? The sun is going to be huge there. Well, in reality, the sun is (only) 2.5 times larger in the Mercury sky compared to Earth's sky. But I bet Destiny 2 will crank it up a bit, considering how awesome the level on board the Almighty was.
The Vex are on Mercury in full force. They're pulling in time-traveling Vex armies. And yes, Osiris is there, too, but we're not even sure he's friend or foe at this point. Osiris's history with the Guardians is complicated. It didn't end on the best terms. But hey, you're fighting Vex, he's fighting Vex — I mean, it's a "the enemy of my enemy" situation.
Between this and Assassin's Creed Origins [Gaming Nexus score 8 out of 10], I think I'm getting a good helping of Ancient Egypt on my gaming plate this year.
Destiny 2 – Expansion I: Curse of Osiris launches on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on December 5.
