If you've been looking for your Elder Scrolls fix on the go (because let's face it, you can't exactly lug your consoles or desktop around with you no matter how much you want to), then you might be delighted to hear that The Elder Scrolls: Legends is now available for free download on iOS and Android devices. Adapted to smaller screen sizes, the mobile version of the game has all the features of the PC version (which is of course still available for download on Steam and Bethesda.net).
If you're new to the game like me, here's the rundown. The Elder Scrolls: Legends is a strategy card game with a flexible deck-building system and a variety of modes for both the casual and the competitive player. You can play your way through the single-player Story Mode, Versus Mode, and Arena Mode, and AI opponents are available if you don't feel ready to face off against another human player (or if you just plain don't feel like it).
This game has been at the back of my mind for a while, but its expansion to mobile might be the final push I was looking for to finally delve into it. I swear by The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, so I'm particularly excited to see a bunch of familiar faces in the recently-launched Heroes of Skyrim expansion. It added over 150 new cards to collect, plus a bunch of new mechanics and powerful abilities.
The Elder Scrolls: Legends is now available for your iOS or Android phone on the App Store and the Google Play Store, respectively.
