HTC sending out free foam replacements for the Deluxe Audio Strap

Were you one of the folks that got an HTC Deluxe Audio Strap only to find out some of the foam was peeling off of it when in use? Well, you can get it replaced for free.

Talking with Troy Edwards, PR of the HTC Vive, he said that if you call in, they should have some on hand to send to you for free. Also, the new foam will be rolling out into the production units of the Deluxe Audio Strap in the near future.

Washing the foam will get rid of any peeling, but if you want to get a replacement so you don't have to do that, just give HTC a call. I'm glad to see HTC step up to take charge in making sure those that bought the peripheral gets taken care of.
