The fact that my name is right at the top there means you probably already knew this article was about Overwatch without having to read the title, but this one is important, I swear. If you still haven't jumped on the bandwagon, no shame in that, but your chance is coming up soon. Blizzard just announced a free play weekend for PC, Xbox One, and Playstation 4 players later this month.
Players participating in the trial will have access to all 24 heroes and most modes, including Custom, Quick Play, and Arcade. It's almost an all-access pass; you get to level up and earn loot boxes just like players who own the full game. If you decide you don't like the game when the trial ends, no harm done. If you decide that you love it, however, you'll be able to keep all of your items and progress if you choose to purchase the full game (assuming, of course, you use the same account to buy it as you did for the free play period).
Overwatch is free to play from May 26 (11:00 AM PT) to May 29 (11:59 PM PT). Who do you plan to main?
