Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has announced the sequel to Lego Marvel Super Heroes, it's Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2, of course. This is a new adventure dressing up heroes and villains from the Marvel universe in the Lego games style. From the announcement details we can glean that heroes from across time and space will converge into an open world hub, called Chronopolis. Apparently time travel will be a big factor in the plot and gameplay and there will be a 4 player multiplayer battle mode as well. More details will probably follow next week with the gameplay trailer but with nay game like this a lot of the meat has to do with which heroes are actually going to be in the game. The press release and trailer are a start to compiling that list, with Groot, Dr. Strange, Cowboy Captain America, Spider-Man 2099, Thor, Hulk, the rest of the Guardians of the Galaxy, Black Panther, Captain Marvel, and the Green Goblin all making an appearance or earning a mention.
Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 is expected to release November 17th, 2017. The teaser trailer is below and full press release follows that.
