Gamers may remember such titles as Parsec, Life Force, and R-Type as fun side-scrolling aircraft games. However, Drifting Lands brings character development and customization that takes the genre to a whole new level. You can control what type of ship, the load-out, and style. You can also choose between which skills to use, where to upgrade stats, and which loot to use or sell. The game brings 100 levels with differing difficulties. There is even multiplayer possibilities for those who wish to compete against others. The game launches to PC/MAC on June 5 and here is a trailer:
