It's crazy to think that Payday 2 was released back in 2013 and has received more support than any other game out there that I can remember. Between heists, characters and guns, I have sunk hundreds of hours into the game over the years. To thank the fans for all the support over the years, Overkill is putting together a massive sale and bundle of Payday 2 called "Payday 2: Ultimate Edition"
This Ultimate Edition is different from most compilation packs. From now until June 8th, ALL available DLC for Payday 2 will be 85% off on Steam.
After that all of the DLC available on the Steam store will disappear and will be bundled into one single "Ultimate Pack" with a couple of exceptions. The DLC that is not available to buy is the Overkill pack because it was a timed exclusive and the "Ethan and Hila" character pack will be paid DLC available this October. All other DLC will be free.
If you don't get an opportunity to buy any DLC, an "upgrade to Ultimate Edition" feature will be available. The price of the Ultimate upgrade will differ depending on how much DLC you previously bought. If you are a new player, Payday 2: Ultimate Edition will retail for $45.
Overkill has also announced that all future updates for the game will be free and they are going to extend development of the game through October 2018.
