Remember the 90's? Remember gaming consoles like the Sega CD, the 3DO and how full motion video was the future of gaming? Yeah, crappy pixelated videos on a tiny screen, but hey, it's real people in the videogames so it's actually like you are in the game! Amazing right? Ehh not so much.
Night Trap was on the of the various FMV games of the 90's and just like Mortal Kombat and Doom, Night Trap infuriated parents so much that it was one of the games that led to the creation of the ESRB. Night Trap was so controversial for the time that it was yanked off store shelves due to it's "graphic" content. Now, I never played Night Trap as a kid, so I am sure it was controversial at the time, but by today's standards, it's absolutely laughable that it caused this much controversy.
Regardless, now everyone will get to see what all the fuss was about as Night Trap: 25th Anniversary Edition is coming to the PS4 later this year. Something that I find hilarious is that the 25th Anniversary of the game has been rated T for Teen for "Violence, Blood and Suggestive Themes".
Night Trap: 25 Anniversary Edition launches this Spring on Playstation 4.
