As a software developer sometimes I find these things more interesting than most, but Horizon Zero Dawn was recently featured in a documentary by a Dutch TV station. Posted on YouTube, this video gives an interesting look at the development cycle that brought the game to life. Unlike many behind the scenes/making of docs that are geared just to a gaming public, this one is done through the lens of reaching out to the general public and takes an appropriate tone. The documentary crew were given tremendous access and followed the developers through events like PSX 2015 to produce the show. The program originally aired on Dutch TV and while it is narrated in English some of the interviews are in Dutch (did you know Guerrilla games is a Dutch studio? Now you do.).
