They're at it again. The Overwatch team just released a teaser for an upcoming content release, and per typical fashion everyone is reading way into it. But that's half the fun, isn't it?
The teaser linked above was on Blizzard's Facebook page for only an hour or so before it was deleted, but it's still up on Twitter. (I'm guessing this has something to do with a date discrepancy, since I've seen teasers dated both April 11 and April 12). Whatever it is, it's about the King's Row Uprising.
In case you can't see what's in the background, we've got an unreadable QR code, a picture of some kind of Omnic Corporation (?), something that looks suspiciously like a new Tracer skin, and security footage of a subway system.
So what does all this mean? Well, no one really knows. People speculate that this could be a lead-in for expanded lore, or maybe even an in-game event. It might have something to do with the short released last year, "Alive," in which Tracer fails to stop Widowmaker from killing Mondatta; we never really learned the exact fallout of that whole thing, after all.
Whatever Blizzard has in store for us, we'll find out April 11. Or 12. Somewhere around there.
