Frontier Developments has been talking about Elite Dangerous at PAX and they revealed that the PlayStation 4 version of the game will get HOTAS support. The Xbox One version will still be only playable with the controller for now, but that's great news for those waiting on the PlayStation 4 version.
Having sunk a bunch of hours into the game in the last month on the PC, I just couldn't bring myself going back to a controller after flying around using the Saitek X52 Pro. It makes the game a lot easier to control with all the buttons on hand and using it with the HTC Vive, you definitely need as much controls at your fingertips as possible.
Elite Dangerous on the PlayStation 4 is scheduled for sometime in the second quarter of this year.
