New character Orisa now available on Overwatch PTR

Remember that time we all thought that Doomfist was the next in line for Overwatch's impressive ranks? Well, we were wrong (perhaps partially because Blizzard's way of going about character teasing is...interesting), but I'm not complaining. If you have access to the PTR (sadly, only PC players) then you can go see for yourself right now.

Hero number 24 is Orisa, a robot built from spare parts by a child prodigy from Numbani named Efi Oladele. Blizzard released an 'interview' with the 11 year-old inventor on February 21, seeming to hint at the new character. Of course, they weren't about to put an 11 year-old in the battlefield (and rightly so). Enter Orisa.

According to her official hero page, "Orisa serves as the central anchor of her team, and defends her teammates from the frontline with a protective barrier. She can attack from long range, fortify her own defenses, launch graviton charges to slow and move enemies, and deploy a Supercharger to boost the damage output of multiple allies at once."

I don't know about you, but a  guardian robot built by an adorable 11 year-old who's probably smarter than everybody in my graduating class put together? Sign me up. I think I'm more hyped about this than Doomfist; Blizzard really is stepping up their inclusivity and representation game.
