I think we've all seen this coming for a while, but it's finally looming on the horizon. The newest Xbox One update will remove the console's multitasking feature, Snap, in order to simplify the user interface and free up resources for future development.
Xbox engineering lead Mike Ybarra confirmed on Twitter recently that their decision to remove Snap was driven by the need to pave the way for "bigger things" in the Xbox's future. It's not the world's most drastic change, but it's apparently enough to free up a decent amount of the console's memory.
Some Xbox Insiders already have access to the update, but it goes live for everyone this spring. Check out the specifics in the preview below.
