Sea of Thieves is the upcoming, co-op intensive pirate game, yet the details of the cooperative play had not really been expounded upon. Enter this developer diary, where two of the developers discuss the cooperative elements of the game in depth.
I'm quite excited for this game, though I do wonder if there will be any options available for people who don't have a group of friends ready to play with. The example in the video of the map being separate from the steering of the ship is a very exciting multiplayer feature, but it doesn't seem like there could really be a work around for people who are unable to play with a group.
Either way, Sea of Thieves continues to be one of the most interesting games on the horizon. You can watch the video below.
