The World of Tanks: Roll Out! comic series reaches its penultimate issue this week with World of Tanks: Roll Out! #4. It can be downloaded directly from Dark Horse Digital. The five-comic series takes place during pivotal tank battles in 1944, a golden era for tank combat. The story is written by Garth Ennis (Preacher, War Stories, The Punisher), illustrated by Carlos Ezquerra (Judge Dredd, Strontium Dog, War Stories Vol. 2), and wrapped in the cover art of Isaac Hannaford (HALO: Reach, The Punisher).
In issue #4, all heck breaks loose in "God of Battles," which continues the story rolling across the smoke-ridden fields of post D-Day Normandy. British tanks receive heavy fire as they are overwhelmed by a hidden Sturmgeschutz sneak attack, while the German soldiers and armored forces despair when the combat reaches its crescendo.
But World of Tanks takes things further. The in-game art on console (Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4) has been redrawn to match the comic book style. A penciled sheen will draw players into the comic experience. Also, a special Open Fire Bundle is available in all printed copies of issue #4 (available in comic book stores, natch), exclusive to tankers on console. This bundle is loaded with in-game items, a platform specific T1 Tank, and in-game content including garage slots, fully trained crews, and more.
Everybody's talking about Overwatch, but here I am reinstalling World of Tanks. Different strokes, I guess.

In this exciting issue, all hell breaks loose in “God of Battles”, the penultimate chapter of the World of Tanks: Roll Out comic book series. Wargaming’s tale of hard-hitting tank combat continues on the smoky battlefields of post D-Day Normandy. British tanks receive heavy fire as they are overwhelmed by a hidden Sturmgeschütz (StuG) sneak attack, while the German soldiers and armored forces despair when the combat reaches its crescendo.
Commemorating the launch of the latest issue of the World of Tanks: Roll Out series, the in-game art has been redrawn to match the comic book style. Tankers will be greeted with a penciled sheen that will immerse console players in a genuine comic experience. Additionally, a special Open Fire Bundle will be available in all printed copies of issue #4, exclusive to tankers on console. This bundle is loaded with in-game items, a platform specific T1 Tank and in-game content including garage slots, fully trained crews and more!
