Yooka-Laylee may be skipping Wii U, to the dismay of the console's few remaining loyal fans, but don't let that diminish your excitement for the game. This new trailer shows off the Cashino level replete with roulette wheels, slots and even dance floors all re-purposed as platforming hazards.
I have high hopes for this game as it looks like the only faithful Rare-style platformer to come out in decades, as Microsoft has done disappointingly little with the stable of Rare IPs they own. I guess it's up to former Rare employees like Playtonic to keep the magic alive with spiritual successors like Yooka-Laylee. The game hits PS4 and Xbox One on April 11th 2017, and Playtonic are working on porting the game to Nintendo Switch as well.
