Zero Time Dilemma, the third game in the Zero Escape series has been out for quite some time, but there has been a dilemma for fans who want to get the full experience that own Playstation Vita's. Up until now, the first game in the series 999: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors has only been available on the Nintendo DS. The second and third games, Virtue's Last Reward and Zero Time Dilemma were released on the 3DS so fans with DS products didn't have much of an issue. Fans with Vita's, well they were out of luck. Until now that is.
Aksys Games and Spike Chunsoft have announced Zero Escape: The Nonary Games. Zero Escape: The Nonary Games is a double pack featuring "999: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors", and it's sequel "Virtue's Last Reward" and will be released in Spring of 2017 on the PS4 and PS Vita.
If you have already played through the original 999 release on the Nintendo DS, then there will be more than enough reason to play through this version as the game as been completely re-mastered from the ground up featuring new HD graphics along with brand new English and Japanese voice acting. Also if you are like me and love Trophies and achievements then this will most likely bring a brand new set of Trophies to collect.
If you love visual novels, you really owe it to yourselves to check these games out. They are absolutely incredible, mind blowing and intense stories that will have you hooked the moment you start them. I even named 999 as my favorite game of the last generation of videogames. I will say this though. Just play the games. By that I mean, go into them completely blind. Do NOT look up wikipedia pages or watch lets plays or anything like that. These games are filled with tons of plot twists that you will have spoiled for you if you go that direction.
