A week shy of the next paid DLC release, DOOM has gotten its 4th free update, the biggest feature of which is the new Arcade mode for single player.
This mode unlocks all the guns and upgrades off the bat, and you play simply for the highest score you can get.
In addition, there are two new multiplayer modes: Possession and Bloodrush. Possession is described simply as "prowler demons vs. marines," and Bloodrush is a free for all mode.
Finally, "classic" modules have been added to the SnapMap feature, which essentially means you can use assets similar to the old games when you're creating maps.
