Star Wars Battlefront getting the “Ultimate Edition” treatment

Star Wars Battlefront is the latest game to receive the now-standard “Ultimate Edition” treatment thanks to an announcement from EA. The game will receive a full re-release on November 18, 2016 with a new version of the game that includes all of the DLC items that have been offered since the original launch.

We reviewed the game when it launched last year, and really felt that it left a lot to be desired. A year of steady additions via DLC has definitely helped flesh out the experience to a much more complete package. This new edition is the game that Battlefront fans have wanted and the discounted price of the Ultimate Edition, which will retail for $39.99, might help breathe some life into the game across all platforms. I think I might need to load this one back up...
