December is fast approaching, and along with it comes the release date for the Assassin’s Creed movie. The film, which stars Michael Fassbender, will bring Ubisoft’s marquee franchise to the big screen for the first time. While I know that there is an extremely negative stigma around most video game to film adaptations, I think that this one might stand a chance of breaking that trend. Despite there being some departure from the details of the game’s storyline, the footage we have seen previously and in the trailer below show a promising adaptation of the concept. The animus is different, as is the main character, but the concept looks as if it being nailed and the action looks awesome. This is one gaming movie I might actually make a trip to the theater to see.
