Steam Dev Days is going on right now and the hot topic is VR. During the keynote, Valve showed off a prototype HTC Vive controller that's similar to the Oculus Touch controller.
Having used the Touch controller at E3 and CES, I found it to be pretty comfortable and really easy to use.
The way Valve has one designed allows for a more accurate representation of a hand in VR space. You can open and close your hands and it's a far more smaller solution than the wands. Remember, this is a very early prototype, but should give hope for those with the Vive and wanting a controller like the Oculus Touch that's coming out this December.
