Okay that was a terrible Batman joke, I'm sorry, but I thought it was appropriate since SMITE is getting a new god today and it's the long awaited Camazotz, the deadly Mayan God of Bats. It's only a matter of time before he gets some kind of Batman themed skin.
Camazotz will play the Assassin role he has tons of lifesteal and heals. Anytime a enemy or friendly character dies on the battlefield, it leaves behind an essence pool. If Camazotz stands in the pool, he regains health and mana. If you see a Camazotz on the enemy team, you may want to think about picking up some anti healing like Divine Ruin or Brawlers Beatstick. A ton of new skins were added as well to the patch. First up are three new Odyssey skins including "Gemini" Agni, "Scarlet Dangerfield" Neith and "Celestial" Isis. Those skins can be purchased with gems. There is also a new Odyssey reward, "Plague-Bearer" Izanami which can only be obtained when you obtain a certain amount of Odyssey points. Odyssey points can be obtained either through buying Odyssey items, or completing the daily quests.
There are also two new Halloween themed skins as well with "Wolfman" Fenrir and "Feline Fashion" Awilix.
Finally, Izanami is getting her mastery skins and Neith is getting updated mastery skins.
