How does your savings account look at the moment? You might need to tap into it this week and in coming weeks as the Fall rush is officially here. I don’t even know where to begin this week. First off, sports fans have quite a few decisions to make with multiple games launching. 2K is here with NBA 2K17, NHL fans have the new NHL 17 from EA, soccer fans can pick up Pro Evo Soccer, and racing fans have a new NASCAR game.
Perhaps sports isn’t your thing, then you can check out a trio of zombie games with the Dead Rising Triple Pack, which brings together all three of the fantastic Dead rising games in a single package. The collection is only available digitally for the time being, with only the first Dead Rising hitting retail this week. The other games will be released in stores in the coming weeks. You can pick this up on both the PS4 and the Xbox One.
Namco Bandai is launching a new Pac-Man experience with Championship Edition 2 this week on all of the modern consoles. You can forget about the Pac-Man you may know and love from the 1980‘s, Championship Edition is insanely over the top and incredibly difficult at times. It is all about high speed action and quick thinking as you race through specially designed mazes at break neck speeds. I loved the first two C.E. releases and am expecting more of the same great gameplay with this one.
Xbox One owners have a new exclusive in the form of ReCore from the minds of Keiji Inafune and Armature Studio. ReCore is an action-adventure game about a young lady who wakes up after centuries of cryosleep. As you would expect, things have changed drastically since she was entered her slumber and she finds herself in a world where mankind is close to meeting a terrible fate. She will have to journey alongside her trusty robot companions to save the remaining humans of the Far Eden Colony.
Another collection launching this week, which I am seriously looking forward to, is BioShock: The Collection. Available on the PC, Xbox One, and PS4, this will give players a compilation package featuring all three of the amazing BioShock games. AS expected, each one is receiving a complete HD overhall, improving both the resolutions and frame rates, bringing them up to par with modern releases. Each on of these games is a true classic and this is one remake package that I think everyone will want to pick up.
