NBA 2K17 releases at the end of September. But fans will get a chance to start their MyCareer's two weeks early starting with The Prelude, a free downloadable sample of the action to come. The Prelude starts your career journey off as a college phenom trying to raise your draft stock before starting off your professional journey in the main game. There appears from the trailer to be about a dozen of the traditional college powerhouses for you to choose from, and The Prelude will integrate the face simulation technology from the mobile app. So, scan your face with your smartphone's camera and upload the image right into your MyCareer. That app is expected to be released the day before The Prelude. The Prelude will also feature a new tutorial mode, 2KU, featuring Coach K, Mike Krzyzewski of USA Basketball, to get everyone up to speed.
The Prelude is a free download and will be available September 9th, ahead of the September 20th full release of NBA 2K17. It's a great chance to get a taste of what has long been though as the best Basketball game out there.
