July 8th is the date that you can play Red Dead Redemption on the Xbox One. The game will be added to the console's backwards compatibility list and if you don't have the game, you'll be able to purchase it from the Games Store.
Red Dead Redemption is the one game that always seems to pop up when people ask for compatibility and it's great to see it finally make its way to the Xbox One. While it was teased way back in February of this year for the console, Rockstar finally gave the official word today.
Seeing all the news on this makes me want to go back to finish the game. It's was a ton of fun and a game that gives Grand Theft Auto a run for its money in open world gaming.
