The long awaited story mode update for Street Fighter V is finally here and Capcom has released a trailer for the story mode which is called "A Shadow Falls." Juri and Cammy together on a bike? Awesome!
I am really excited about this because this is the first time that a story mode of this magnitude has ever been done in a Street Fighter game and honestly I think story is very important in fighting games. The lore is the reason I fell in love with games like Mortal Kombat and yes, even Street Fighter.
Somewhat off topic but major props are in order to Ed Boon and Netherealm Studios because after Mortal Kombat 9's cinematic story mode, I feel like a lot of other fighting games out there are following up with their own cinematic story modes.
The Story Mode update for Street Fighter V launches today and will be available for free. Also included in the update are two fighters, Ibuki and Balrog, two new stages including Balrog's Las Vegas stage and Karin's Kannzuki Family Private Beach, the in game currency show, and tons of new costumes.
