Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime still has one of the best video game titles ever, while also being a good time in general. Now, two-player co-op Lovers is up to four-player co-op Lovers. The game has upped the difficulty level accordingly, though. I imagine there's slightly less tripping over each other, running from station to station, but a lot more craziness happening outside the spacecraft, Gumball One.
Puttering around crazy planetoids in a neon-pumped galaxy—alongside my A.I. co-op catbuddy or dogbuddy (as I call them)—makes for hectic, but almost always smiling, gameplay moments.
Gaming Nexus writer Russell Archey mentioned that Lovers says, "Screw the status quo," when it comes to shooters. I love the Candyland and Kool-Aid filter everything went through.
Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime is on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, with four-player co-op available now, too.
Now that award-winning, couch co-op action game Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime has launched 4-player mode, gamers can gather their friends and family members together to dodge cosmic atom bombs, fight living constellations and blow up bug-like space robots, all while saving space bunnies and other adorable creatures. The new 4-player mode is available for all versions of the game (Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, Mac and Linux).
Just like 1-2 player mode, 3-4 co-op isn't a walk in the park as more players means even tougher missions and more robotic space enemies to blast into pieces. See 4-player mode in action in this new trailer:
