Hi-Rez Expo coming to Atlanta in January 2017

SMITE's 2017 World Championship has an official date but this year Hi- Rez is doing something a little different. This year, Hi-Rez is holding an event called the Hi-Rez Expo which will feature not just SMITE but their other games as well. This year will not only feature SMITE, but Hi-Rez's new game Paladins as well.

Here is what competitions will be happening at the HRX. 

  • The SMITE World Championship on PC 
  • SMITE Xbox World Championship
  • Paladins HRX Invitational

I remember playing SMITE for the first time back in 2013 when the game was still in beta and only had a small pool of characters in the game. To see how much that game and Hi-Rez has a company has grown in such a short time has truly been a sight to see. I love the idea of this event as well as it seems like it's not just about the SMITE World Championship, but it's a place for SMITE fans to come together for a few days of competition and fun. 

The event will take place at the Cobb Energy Center in Atlanta Georgia from January 5th - January 8th. Tickets are now on sale at HRX's official website.
