No Man's Sky, the open-universe game that everyone is wondering about to this day, will get to keep its name after a three year dispute with the Sky TV, a UK subscription based TV service.
It's not the first time Sky has gone head to head with another company over the name, either; Microsoft originally wanted to call OneDrive "SkyDrive."
Branding is important, especially for a game that has been as heavily speculated on and talked about as No Man's Sky. I wonder if perhaps this legal dispute has something to do with the delays on the release?
Yay! We finally settled with Sky (they own the word "Sky"). We can call our game No Man's Sky. 3 years of secret stupid legal nonsense over
