For a zen-like look at The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Blood and Wine, watch this Other Places video. It's a peek at the fairy-tale good looks of Toussaint, the bright, beautiful, blue-skies-and-puffy-clouds facade of a place that's dark and gory under its skin.
GN Editor-in-Chief Chuck Husemann is saying a bittersweet goodbye to Geralt of Rivia, as he plays through this second and final expansion. I'm likewise plunking away at The Witcher 3 as time permits, but I'm at least a hundred hours away from the end, let alone anything in Hearts of Stone (GN score 9 out of 10) or Blood and Wine. The game is so gorgeous I refuse to play with any HUD; which explains my slow going. But I'm okay with The Witcher 3 being a slow burn. Completely worth it.
Blood and Wine is out now on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
