Unfortunately, I think we all saw this one coming.
After Kotaku posted up an article a few days ago stating that promotional boards and posters were telling advertisers and outlets to put a "COMING SOON" sticker on everything because the game was delayed, it was only a matter of time until Sony had to admit that No Man's Sky had suffered another delay.
Sony made it official today, updating the main site with release information stating the exploration game will hit the shelves on August 9 of this year.
There isn't much else to share other than we're used to seeing ambitious titles like this suffer setbacks, but this is a tad different given how close we were to the launch date.
On the bright side, this frees gamers up a bit to play other titles coming out this summer!
