For the first time, E3 will be open for public attendance. You can hit the website to grab your tickets, which comes at a first come, first service basis. There's no cost for the tickets.
E3 has traditionally been a private event, but I think it's a good move to let some public in. What I'd like to see time just for journalists and then time for everyone else. We'll see how it goes this year, but with some large companies pulling out, the ESA has to do some things to drum up interest in the show. Perhaps letting some folks in that they don't normally do will do that.
Also I change I see is that those under 17 will be allowed by if accompanied by an adult. Before anyone under 18 weren't allowed to go, but those rules seem to be relaxed as well.
We'll have very, very small presence this year at E3, but we'll do out best to bring you the news that comes out of the show.
