The release of Homefront: The Revolution was just about a week back but hasn't been entirely without its hiccups. Lower-end PCs are really struggling with the software and much of that seems to center around the CPUs in play more so than the graphics cards. Even the walled gardens of consoles are having performance issues. Thankfully, developers Deep Silver and Dambuster Studios aren't shrinking away from the challenge. A recent statement by the companies explain that patches are incoming to stabilize the issues, especially frame rates, and is offering free content in the meantime. Those freebies: all 8 pieces of the Punk And Anarchist outfits and full body clothing and 2 free Hail Mary boosters for an instant revive on the hardest mission difficulty. These items should automatically appear in player's inventory screens. The devs are also planning to have 3 additional missions for Resistance Mode ready and available by the end of June.
The full statement can be found below and we should have a review for the game coming soon...
The Revolution is now finally available worldwide, and we hope you are enjoying your first steps in Occupied Philadelphia as a member of the Resistance. It has been a long road for us, and we're only getting started. |
