Gargos checks into the batter’s box for Killer Instinct

The roster for Killer Instinct has already seen some great additions for the current season. It started off with two guest appearances in Rash from Battletoads and Halo’s Arbiter and this month it will grow with the return of one of the franchise’s epic bosses. The demonic gargoyle, Gargos is the next character headed to the game. Iron Galaxy has announced that the May addition to the roster will be the return of the demigod although they aren’t exactly showing him off clearly. The screens that they are showing of him are blurred out, preventing us from getting a good look at his new design. Gargos plays an integral part in the current storyline of the game. He is responsible for the creation of Shadow Jago and has been ushered back to Earth thanks to the efforts of ARIA.

With his addition, we now know six of the season’s eight characters. With two more spots remaining, it’s anyone’s guess as to who will be coming next. There are a lot of rumors that we could see the return of Eyedol and another guest appearance in Gears of War’s General Raam. Personally, I am hoping for more original additions and characters directly associated with the franchise rather than more guests.

Hopefully we will have a trailer soon that will show off what Gargos will bring to the table.
