Guillermo del Toro makes a tweet related to P.T.; hopes raised, then crushed again

Hideo Kojima and Guillermo del Toro, two of the brightest minds in their respective industries, were working together to make Silent Hills, a game that threatened to be one of the best horror games in years. And as everyone knows, Kojima got the shaft from seemingly all sides and the project fell apart.

Well now del Toro is toying with everyone's emotions by tweeting a photo of the creepy ghost lady from P.T., the really freaky demo phenom that took the world by storm, with the caption "Buenas Noches."

Now, he said last year that he will never make another video game, saying if he did, "World War III would start." Such a definite statement seems to go hand in hand with a definite attitude, so it does seem strange that he would bring up the project again now, so much later.

It's probably nothing, but for people who were excited about Silent Hills, maybe this is good news and he's come around to trying again. But I suppose saying goodnight to the woman may not be the best indicator.
