With the release of Mortal Kombat XL, a new season of E-Sports is also on its way. The total prize pool for Season 3 is a whopping $500,000. The season will be an eight-week online season and then sixteen finalists from North America, Europe, Commonwealth of Independent States and Latin America will battle it out on the live stage in Burbank Califormia on June 12th.
Will someone new rise to the top of the MK throne? Or will be it be SONICFOXWINSLOL again?
Season 3 will begin April 3rd and there will be a Challengers Cup for those not competing in the ESL Pro League beginning April 2nd.
If you want to contribute to MKX prize pools, you can do so by purchasing the Blue Steel Sub-Zero skin or the Krimson Ermac skin. A portion of sales from these skins will go to Mortal Kombat E-Sports prize pools.
